Embark on an unforgettable adventure in Kachemak Bay with a scenic water taxi cruise to Gull Island, home to thousands of seabirds. Paddle through tranquil waters, surrounded by stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife, including sea otters and whales. Perfect for beginners, this unique experience promises excitement and natural beauty.

A 15-min water taxi cruise from Homer, visiting Gull Island seabird rookery, home to 10,000 nesting seabirds with viewing opportunities for puffins, guillemots & kittiwakes, murres and more.

At a nearby beach, you will receive gear & safety orientation and soon you are paddling through the calm waters of Kachemak Bay as you glimpse stunning scenery and wildlife. Sea otters, seals, porpoises, sea lions, and whales are common.

Kachemak Bay is unique with rose-colored rock formations illustrating tectonic forces, home to wildlife and adventure always in change, transformed daily by some of the largest tidal fluctuations in the world.

No experience is necessary! Our double kayaks are stable, safe, roomy and a blast to paddle. Perfect for anyone who has never kayaked before.
