Adventure tips

Plan a 3-hour itineraryThe transfer experience typically gives you about three hours inside—pick 3–4 pavilions or one ride plus food to avoid rushing.

Stay hydrated in the evening heatCarry a refillable water bottle; evenings can still be warm and queues at food stalls make delays likely.

Book pickup windows carefullyPickup time varies with group size—expect earlier (2:30–3:00 PM) when groups are small and later (4:00–4:30 PM) when busier.

Bring small cashSome vendors prefer cash for street food and crafts even though major kiosks accept cards.

Recommended gear

Comfortable walking shoes: You’ll cover paved walkways and queue areas—supportive shoes keep the evening comfortable.
Refillable water bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial in Dubai’s warm evenings, especially if queues are long.
Light jacket or scarf: Desert evenings can cool after sunset and some air-conditioned pavilions feel chilly.
Small cash (AED): Useful for quick purchases at food stalls and smaller vendors that may not accept cards.
