Perfect for all skill levels, this hands-on lesson promises a memorable and creative adventure for ages 6 and up.
During this lesson you will learn the basic steps it takes to make an oil lamp. You will be introduced to the tools, equipment and given a brief history of glassblowing. With Conrad's help, you will shape, cut and blow out your form. You will be able to select from a variety of colors. Students must be at least 6 years old. No experience needed. Lessons include all the materials needed to create your work. Please allow approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours to create.
Always wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from hot glass and sparks.
Reservations are recommended as slots fill quickly, especially on weekends.
Clothing should be fitted and in natural fibers to avoid catching fire or melting.
Plan for about 2 hours to complete your project and participate fully.
