Adventure Tips

Arrive Early for Tide-Dependent Tunnel Access

Tide levels affect paddling through the mangrove tunnel—check local tide charts and plan to arrive when water is high enough to pass comfortably.

Bring Biodegradable Sunscreen

Protect your skin without harming fragile marine ecosystems by choosing reef-safe sunscreen to use before and during your trip.

Wear Water Shoes for Sandbar Terrain

The sandbar surface can be uneven or have shells; lightweight water shoes improve comfort while wading or snorkeling.

Secure Personal Items in Dry Bags

Keep electronics and valuables dry by using waterproof bags or containers provided or brought along.
