A wind-stung desert stretches out beneath the pyramids, and for a few concentrated hours you move through a scene both ancient and oddly theatrical. The tour begins at the Giza Visitor Center and quickly moves to Panorama Point, where camels and a trained horse line up with the Great Pyramid as your backdrop—the iconic ‘jumping horse’ frame is staged here, then the group follows shuttle links across the plateau to touch stones laid four and a half millennia ago.
