About

“A mood of indigo vibrations,” poet Donald Levering writes about the deep blue painting by Tracy King shown above.

For the eighth year, the artists at ViVO Contemporary are collaborating with an award-winning group of New Mexico poets to give poetic voice to artistic image in the exhibition "Giving Voice to Image."

During this interactive, online event, you’ll hear from one of the Vivo artists about the exhibition. Then we’ll take a closer look at three artworks and enjoy readings by the poets who responded to them.

Featured artists: Tracy King, Norma Alonzo, and Laurinda Stockwell

Featured poets: Donald Levering, Jeanne Simonoff, and Pamela Villars

There will be time for a Q&A with the artists and poets. It's a poetry reading and gallery visit in one, all from the comfort of your couch!
