You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate in excursions, and you may be required to provide proof of your vaccination. Additionally, masks are required on the boat and in the marina at the discretion of the captain.

This is a hands-on, one-day lesson that will introduce you to the basics of sailing, lasting approx. six hours. We'll cover the following items.
Sail dynamics, including balance, Center of Effort vs. Center of Lateral Resistance, weather and lee helm, Rules of the Road, basic knots, including the bowline, coiling, and cleat hitch, tides and currents, tacking, gybing, and sail trim.
Choose footwear with good grip to stay safe and comfortable on a wet boat deck.
Bay weather can change quickly; layering helps you stay warm or cool as needed.
Bring water or hydrating drinks to stay refreshed throughout your lesson.
Pay close attention to instructors’ safety instructions to ensure a smooth experience.
