With an Padi Open Water Scuba Certification, you can dive at resorts anywhere in the world and rent gear from any scuba dive center. We recommend beginning your self-guided academic training before arriving for your first day of training dives. Days 2 and 3 are about learning and practicing new dive skills and studying for the final dive exam at the end of Day 3. While safety and dive skill mastery is required for certification, we never forget it's also about FUN! Only a portion of each dive is spent covering new skills, the rest of each dive is for exploring and enjoying the world under the waves! JOIN US!

How It Works

PADI Scuba Certification with the Oahu Scuba Diving is a 2 day, two part class. All books, materials and rental gear are included in the certification price. All you need is a swimsuit, sunscreen, snacks and a high tolerance for fun!

Two Parts to Scuba Certification:

1 Pool session and 4 open water dives, the days do NOT need to be consecutive, but we recommend it. Independent, self-study book learning, with five easy chapters with knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter, followed by a final exam to be completed whenever you're ready. Your scuba certification is good for life and dive sites all over the world are now open for exploring!

What to Bring:

Please bring swimming attire and remember to wear sunscreen and bring a hat and/or sunglasses! Life is bright, you gotta have shades! and Motion sickness pill just in case!

• All participants must sign a waiver (sent with your confirmation email) • Certified Divers only • Ages 10 and up for Dives • Participants should be in good general health. • Not recommended for elderly, disabled, or pregnant women • All medical/physical restrictions must be declared at time of reservation.
