Full Speed Hard Enduro: 6km A-Loop Race on Revelstoke Hero Dirt

Revelstoke, British Columbia sits at the western edge of the Columbia Mountains and is a mecca for hard-charging dirt riders. On October 17 the Full Speed Hard Enduro Race delivers a compact, relentless 6 km A-loop that compresses steep climbs, tight singletrack, rock gardens, and natural obstacles into a short, intense test for experienced riders. The event doubles as an EnduroX prologue and a late-season challenge where cooler temperatures and “hero dirt” reward bold lines and smart trail reading. The course is designed for intermediate-plus riders who thrive on technical terrain: expect punchy climbs that demand traction and momentum, narrow singletrack that punishes hesitation, and rock bands that separate careful riders from committed ones. Natural features—jagged metamorphic bedrock, alpine draws, and stands of cedar and hemlock common to the Revelstoke backcountry—give each section a distinct character and keep the race visually engaging as well as physically demanding. Race day has a grassroots vibe with serious stakes: fields are capped at 100 riders, podiums come with prizes from Kimpex, Parts Canada, Fox, VP Race Fuels, and Full Speed, and the entry fee includes a post-race burger and drink. Logistics are straightforward—this is a committed one-day effort: show up ready with required safety gear (full-face DOT helmet, goggles, dirtbike pants and jersey, gloves, and boots), a well-serviced machine, and a plan for recovery afterward. Why this event stands out in Revelstoke’s scene is how it shrinks big-mountain riding into a condensed, racing-focused format. Trails here are cut into steep glacial valleys; the track’s technicality mirrors the larger mountain landscape, offering riders a direct, high-intensity connection to the region’s geology and weather. For local businesses and riders the race signals the end of season camaraderie—mechanics, sponsors, and volunteers rally to make one last fast memory before winter. Practical notes: minimum age is 19; open to intermediate-plus riders; spots move fast. Bring spare parts, a hydration system, and warm layers for post-ride cooldown. Whether you’re chasing lap times or testing your limits before winter, the Full Speed Hard Enduro in Revelstoke is a precise, punishing, and memorable way to finish a season in one of British Columbia’s most formidable riding landscapes. Registration is limited to one hundred riders and moves quickly; reserve your spot through the event booking link and check cancellation rules (72 hours). Riders should arrive with tires suited to mixed dirt and rock, a basic toolkit, a charged phone, and a support plan for fuel. If you’re traveling from out of town, Revelstoke offers hotels, campgrounds, and plenty of trail access for pre-race practice. Treat this race like a mountain test: ride within your limits on unfamiliar sections, recon tough lines when you can, and respect volunteers; bring spare inner tubes.
