About

  • You will learn to take apart, clean and reassemble your shotgun. If you do not have one, you can rent one from our facility. You will be shooting two different guns. Mossberg and Remington pump and semi-automatic shotguns. You will fire 30 rounds, 20 rounds of double odd buck, 5 rounds of slugs.
  • This course is a must for anyone who is thinking of purchasing their own shotgun, or even if you already have one. This is not something you can learn on YouTube. Firearms take time to get adjusted to if you truly desire to hit the bulls eye every time.
  • In this course, you will learn position, grip, sight alignment, breath control, trigger squeeze, follow through
  • Minors 12 years old and up are welcome provided they are accompanied by parent/s or legal guardian.
  • All students pay their own ammo, and range fees.
  • This course is a prerequisite for the Tactical Shotgun Course. Skeet and trap is another completely different course.

Please Note

  • Range Fees and ammunition are paid by the students. Range fees are from $20- $40 depending on what type of firearm you are being trained on.
  • Valid photo ID REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS.
  • If you're a visitor to the US, you are eligible to take firearms training!

Arrive Early for Paperwork

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your session to complete necessary forms and safety briefings.

Wear Comfortable Clothing

Dress in layers with closed-toe shoes to stay comfortable during firearm handling and shooting practice.

Although some hearing protection is provided, personal earplugs or earmuffs ensure maximum comfort on the range.
