About: The Full Day Whitewater Merit Badge Program is a fun, challenging, and educational trip designed for Boy and Girl Scout troops. During the day, scouts will learn basic knowledge of river topics such as safety, hydrodynamics, necessary skills to navigate a river, swimming in current, and how to identify potential hazards. At the conclusion of the day, the Trip Leader will give a verbal quiz on the information that was taught during the day. If the participating scout passes the test then they will be rewarded their whitewater merit badge.
