A morning drive peels away Muscat’s city edges and drops you into the sharp, sun-bleached folds of Oman’s eastern coast. The road threads between the Hajjar foothills and the Gulf of Oman until the land opens into Wadi Mibam—narrow canyons, stepped pools and waterfalls that dare you to cool off. Later the group arrives at the Bimmah Sinkhole, a circular limestone bowl filled with startling turquoise water.
