My all-day charters allow you to set the schedule for your trip. Early morning usually offers the best fishing opportunities, and we should have enough time to fish for both salmon and halibut on the same day, weather permitting.

Arriving By Cruise Ship

You will call a Sour dough cab company cab at 907.225.5544 to arrange a ride to Clover Pass Resort.

When you arrive at the Resort, the coffee will be hot and my boat will be clean are ready to go fishing.

Fishing Licenses:

  • Alaska fishing license must be purchased online prior to your trip. The current license pricing can be found on the ADFG site

Welcome Aboard the Josie Lyn

  • The Josie Lyn is a 29 foot C-Hawk built in Baily, North Carolina. These boats are known for their ability to comfortably handle all types of sea conditions. She is fast, quiet and stable.
  • In 2020 I re-powered with Twin Suzuki 200hp 4 stroke motors, which are quiet, powerful and reliable. My trolling/auxiliary motor is a Yamaha 9.9 HP high thrust.
  • The boat is equipped with top of the line fishing electronics- Furuno and Lowrance Color fish finders, Simrad and Lowrance Chart Plotter help me find the fish and stay on top of them.
  • All your fishing equipment is provided and includes Shimano, Lamiglass and G. Loomis rods with Shimano and Penn reels. For Halibut fishing I use Shimano Tekota, Avet and Shimano and Daiwa electric reels. My downriggers are Scotty Electrics.
  • The seating area is covered to keep you out of the rain. A fully enclosed marine toilet is in the bow. Soft drinks, bottled water, hot coffee and snacks are included with your charter.
