About

Reel-in wild Alaskan King Salmon and/or feisty Silver Salmon successfully in Kachemak Bay out of Homer, Alaska. At Bob's Trophy Charters, our salmon fishing boats are equipped with special salmon electronics, down riggers, trolling gear, and light tackle rods and reels. Our guides provide the ‘know how’ and all bait and tackle to help you proclaim 'fish-on' and land your king salmon and/or silver salmon when in season. Since our guides work every day, they have local knowledge about the salmon ‘hot spots’ which usually yield the most salmon for your fishing success.

What to bring

  • Waterproof boots or shoes to prevent your feet from getting wet or cold. Note your shoes may get fishy.
  • Layered clothing for warmth
  • Rain gear incase it rains
  • Physical copy of fishing license (can purchase one at our office before the trip if needed)
  • Lunch/snacks/water/juice/whatever you want to eat/drink on the trip. Feel free to bring a reasonable sized cooler.
  • Camera to take pictures of your catch, wildlife, mountain views, or the memorable crew!
