Departs from Channel Islands Harbor. We make our way across the Santa Barbara Channel, 11 miles to Anacapa Island. On the way out, about 50 minutes, we will look for various wildlife including dolphins, whales, seals and a variety of birds including California Brown Pelicans and Cormorants. Once we reach the destination, we can view the iconic Arch Rock and the Lighthouse up close and personal.
You will take in the natural beauty that is Anacapa Island while cruising along next to it. We will cross the channel to Santa Cruz Island and to Smugglers Cove. You’ll view Yellow Banks, an Olive Orchard left behind by earlier settlers from the island. You may go for swim and enjoy the sights of this beautiful National Park and Marine Sanctuary.
After this we will cruise to Scorpion’s Harbor then on to Potato Harbor where we can throw the anchor, have lunch in a secluded cove and see what California was like 100 years ago.
