About This Adventure

Grand Teton National Park is a photographer's paradise.

Duration

8 hours

About

With gorgeous scenery in every direction, sunrises and sunsets that look painted from an artist's palette, and the largest concentration of wildlife in the Lower 48, it's no wonder photographers flock to this valley from all over the world. The seasonal changes this landscape experiences only add to the magic. In the spring, we have dozens of species of wildflowers blooming all across the valley floor and ungulate species giving birth to their fawns and calves. In summer, we witness these babies grow larger and watch the snow melt from the high peaks. The arrival of autumn turns the valley gold as aspen leaves change color. What's more, our many ungulate species enter their mating season and bears are busy building up their fat reserves for winter. Finally, in winter, both the peaks and the valley turn an almost blinding white as they fill with snow, providing visitors with a breathtaking view.

We are pleased to offer photography tours so that you, too, may take advantage of the incredible photo opportunities provided by Grand Teton National Park. On this completely customizable tour, we will cater to your passions and goals for your own photography, visiting desired locations and searching for the animals on your list. Your tour will be led by one of our photo-expert guides who will work alongside you to help you get the shot. Whether you are just beginning your photography journey or are a seasoned pro, our guides will offer as much or as little instruction as you need. We can provide guidance on camera settings, lighting, composition, and location. Our guides work with Nikon, Canon, and Sony cameras, so be sure to tell us which camera you use so we can best cater to you!

This full day tour includes a light breakfast/snacks and both hot and cold beverages and is timed to perfectly maximize sunrise hours to take advantage of the lighting conditions. A picnic lunch is also included. Your Naturalist Guide will seek out the best spots based on your photography goals to get you set up for the perfect shots. They’re also eager to share their knowledge about the wonders of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, so make sure to pick your guide’s brain on topics like animal behavior and adaptations, geology of the area, local botany, and the cultural history of this special place.
