You leave Miraflores before dawn on a highway that eases out of the city and toward the coast, the Pacific sliding into view like a low, humming presence. By mid-morning you’re skimming past rocky islets as the Ballestas Islands appear: black cliffs fizzing with seabirds, sea lions hauling on wind-polished ledges, and the occasional penguin bobbing in the swell. The boat hums, the spray dares you to get closer, and the guide points out marine life with practiced calm.

The tour runs about 16–18 hours with a 6:00 am departure from Miraflores (be there by 5:45 am) and returns late evening to the same meeting point.
