The day begins before dawn in Nairobi, tires humming as the road pushes north toward Laikipia. As the sun lifts, the landscape opens from suburban sprawl into wide cattle country, and then the scrub and acacia of Ol Pejeta appear — a place where elephants slow the air and rhinos move with deliberate purpose.

Ol Pejeta supports populations of elephants, rhinos and other Big Five species; sightings are common but not guaranteed—luck and timing matter.
The canopy walk is secured and supervised but has height and safety rules; children should be accompanied and comfortable with heights.
