Ponto de encontro no Posto de Turismo em PDL ou possibilidade de pick-up num raio de 15km a partir de Ponta Delgada

Partida de Ponta Delgada pela costa norte, em direção ao Nordeste, a mais antiga e remota região de São Miguel, referida como a 10ª ilha dos Açores. Montanhas, florestas, quedas de água, miradouros alcantilados sobre o mar, povoados singelos e uma exuberância de flores marcam este conselho.

Almoço no concelho do nordeste.

Continuação pelo extremo oriental da ilha até a Vila da Povoação, local de desembarque dos primeiros habitantes da ilha. Prosseguimos a visita pela subida ao miradouro do Salto do Cavalo.

Regresso a Ponta Delgada.
