The coach eases off Bournemouth's seafront and the coast unfurls: low sandstone bays, sudden chalk cliffs, and the sea bright against a blue horizon. You cross Poole Harbour by ferry, feel the engine hum, and the guide's voice threads geology and local lore as the bus winds toward Old Harry, Durlston and the drop to Durdle Door.

Suitable for travelers with moderate fitness able to manage short steep descents (25–30 minutes) and 1–3 mile of walking spread through the day.
The itinerary allows approximately 3 hours of free time at Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove to walk, eat and explore the shoreline.
The descent is steep and uneven; children can do it with supervision, but alternatives exist to view the arch from the cliff top if needed.
