Halibut fishing alone doesn't thrill you. Why not add some rock fish to your menu? Like the other combination charters, this one splits the day up to offer you a change of pace and usually some lighter tackle fishing. Rock fish congregate in the rocky bottom areas, hence their name, and the captain will plan his day knowing just where those good bottoms are.... You are allowed to keep up to 5 rock fish per person along with your 2 halibut per person. There are a few areas that produce a variety of pelagic and non- pelagic fish and some are weather dependent spots so your captain will have to decide where to take you.
Weather can change quickly on the water, so wear moisture-wicking, layered clothing to stay comfortable.
