Common targets include snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, tarpon (seasonal), and nearshore species depending on tides and route.

How many anglers per boat and extra angler costs?

Base pricing often includes a set number of anglers (this trip lists three); additional anglers are typically an extra fee—confirm the per-person supplement when booking.

Charters usually cancel or change plans for severe weather; operators will reschedule or refund according to their cancellation policy—call ahead the morning of your trip.

Bring motion-sickness medicineIf you’re prone to seasickness, take medication or use acupressure bands before boarding; shallow estuaries can be choppy in wind.

Hydrate and pack snacksCaptain supplies water and sodas, but bring extra electrolyte drinks and compact snacks for energy across an 8-hour day.

Confirm catch rules and storageCheck Florida saltwater regulations and coordinate how the captain handles and stores fish if you plan to keep your catch.

Recommended gear

Polarized sunglasses: Cut glare to spot fish and protect your eyes in bright coastal light.

Non-slip deck shoes: Stable footing on wet decks when boarding, landing and moving around the boat.
Waterproof phone case & small dry bag: Protects electronics and stores essentials when waves or spray appear.
