You step off the van in Badian and the river begins to speak—cold, fast, and eager. The canyon narrows quickly: limestone walls rise, water carves steps into rock, and pools flash green where sunlight breaks through the canopy. Guides clip life vests and helmets, and the day becomes a sequence of movement—treks over slick boulders, natural water slides, committed jumps into deep basins, and short rappels where the canyon forces you to pick a line.
