How to book

Book your chosen session (day/time) in the beginning and continue with the same day/time for the rest of the program.

About

Extending upon the skills and knowledge of kids who have mastered the basic fundamentals of surfing. Topics covered in this level include:

  • techniques for paddling out through oncoming waves
  • positioning in the lineup
  • ‘taking the drop’ on unbroken (green water) waves
  • surf etiquette
  • identify suitable surfing conditions
  • basic surfing manoeuvre technique

*Please note group sizes vary depending on the session day and time of year. We operate from a maximum ratio of 5 children per instructor

Programs start at the beginning of each school term.

What to Bring

All you will need is swimming bottoms, sunscreen and a towel. We supply safe, soft surfboards, wetshirts and wetsuits (if required). Kids in intermediate and advanced levels may use their own fibreglass surfboards if they wish.
