Sodus Bay Tours by Save Our Sodus, Inc. operates guided cruises on Sodus Bay out of Wolcott, New York. The program uses the historic, beautifully restored vessel Rose Lummis to offer a mix of evening sunset sails and family-oriented educational excursions.
Sunset offerings include the Friday evening "Sunset & Sips Cruise," a relaxing sail with soothing music that returns to Pier 53 Brick Oven for a waterfront sunset and socializing over cocktails. Saturday nights are dedicated to "Sunset Soirees," themed cruises aboard the Rose Lummis with lively music, dinner options, and drinks for an engaging evening on the water.
Family eco-tours run on Saturday afternoons and focus on local wildlife, history, and conservation. Family Eco-Tour #2 combines music and history for a 90-minute cruise that highlights geese, swans, eagles and other wildlife. Family Eco-Tour #1 is a 90-minute history-focused tour without music that emphasizes the bay’s ecology and conservation efforts, and highlights sightings such as herons and cormorants.
Operated by Save Our Sodus, Inc., these tours combine maritime heritage, local history, and natural observation on Sodus Bay.
