The tour threads two complementary sides of Mexico City—intimate domestic history at Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul and the social, watery celebration of Xochimilco’s trajineras.

Coyoacán was an independent village with colonial roots and later an intellectual hub; Xochimilco preserves pre-Hispanic chinampa agriculture and waterways once part of Lake Texcoco.
Xochimilco faces ecological pressures from urbanization and invasive species; visitors are encouraged to support local conservation initiatives and minimize plastic waste.
