WHAT IS FREEROAM VR?

Free-roam VR is a world similar to the real one, where players can observe simply by wearing a VR headset. With their controllers they can see their augmented hands and bodies in the virtual world and interact with the objects within the game. Its played with wireless VR headsets and a group will walk around an "arena" playspace rather than stand still.

WHAT GAMES CAN I PLAY?

In Portsmouth upstairs (no lift access), we have a choice of Free-Roam Arena games. Most require 2 players. Some support upto six players, some are capped at four players.

We have content from VERSUS (Laser Tag) and Hero Zone which has a few titles including a cartoon style AMAZING zombie experience for all ages called Dead Ahead...

During a session each game lasts around 10 mins, so you can either repeat or try at least two from the list.

During a longer sessions you can repeat levels more or try even more of the games!!

VERSUS LASER TAG

Versus is a retro-futuristic VR laser tag. Jump into the arena for PVP battles with your V-99 blaster.

GAMEPLAY

The rules are simple: Players are in a competitive deathmatch arena, a 6-minute battle where the highest score wins. 1v1 or 2v2 or 4 player free for all fights in Versus Arena are intense and fun!

HERO ZONE GAMES

HEROZONE: DEAD AHEAD

The apocalypse is here! You and your friends make a last stand to defend against the undead. You get 30 seconds to prepare your defences & pick your weapons before the zombies attack. Each wave the zombies become faster and the pressure builds up. Do you have what it takes to survive the apocalypse?

Orcs, goblins and a menacing dragon are out to destroy the sacred tree! You and your band of heroes have been called upon to stop this evil and bring peace to the fairy realm. A dangerous mission that might overwhelm even the most seasoned adventurer.

You and your squad of heroic digital warriors try to eradicate the virus that has taken over your system. A fast paced futuristic shooter with dynamic gameplay elements. Dodge lasers, bullets, firewalls, all this whilst trying to destroy the enemy with your dual wielded laser guns.

HEROZONE: QUANTUM ARENA

Challenge your friends in an intense futuristic tournament! Team-up or fight in a free-for-all battle for the highest score. Beware as players are not the only danger to look out for!
