Fredericksburg Texas was founded by German immigrants in 1846, just a year after Texas became a State. Over time, our town has grown but has maintained its cultural heritage and great beauty. The Historic District of Fredericksburg encompasses a large area including the Miracle Mile, Fredericksburg’s Main Street shopping district. Within the setting of the Historic District, over 399 buildings are registered as National landmarks, and over 700 historic sites exist. This tour highlights several of our most important landmarks as well as incredibly beautiful architecture. Availability and weather permitting, guests will get off the vehicle at 2 of our Historic sites for a private viewing of these important and interesting places. From the unbroken Treaty with Native Americans to the prominence of well-preserved architectural delights such as our Sunday houses, those who experience this tour will receive a delightful and not-to-be forgotten memory.

Most of your experience will take place from a comfortable heated and air-conditioned Trolley or luxury mini coach with wide touring windows. Some walking will be required if guests wish to tour facilities. Trolleys are equipped for the mobility impaired with electric lifts and anchors for wheelchairs.
Fredericksburg Visitors Center, 302 E Main Street - ample parking available behind the visitors center - Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to boarding time. As some walking is required, please let us know if anyone in your party requires mobility assistance.
You should dress for the weather. The trolleys are heated but will not feel as warm as your personal vehicle. All vehicles are heated and airconditioned
