Framed 2.0 Escape Room: Race the Clock in Wooster’s High-Stakes Mystery

Framed 2.0 drops you straight into a pressure cooker of clues and accusation at 1535 Madison Ave in Wooster, Ohio. This 45-minute escape room flips the usual leisurely puzzle format into a sprint: you’re an investigator who’s been framed for the disappearance of a local college student, trapped inside your own office with sabotage stacked against you. The set reads like a working detective’s workspace—worn filing cabinets, an overturned chair, a corkboard dusted with newspaper clippings and sticky notes, locked drawers and mechanical puzzles that require observation, logic, and steady hands. The experience is compact but dense. Groups of two to ten players have precisely 45 minutes to search, decode, and reconnect planted evidence to expose the real culprit. A live Game Master briefs your team, monitors progress, and offers hints through in-room cues when needed, then leads a brief debrief and team photo after the run. A private-room option is available for teams who want exclusive control of all ten spots; single-player admission is offered for solo thrill-seekers. Practical details matter here. Check in 15 minutes early at the Madison Avenue storefront to secure belongings and receive the mission briefing—late arrivals shorten your play time. The venue is stroller- and wheelchair-accessible, making it a friendly pick for mixed-ability groups. Cancellations more than 48 hours ahead are fully refundable; within 48 hours, bookings are non-refundable. Framed 2.0 stands out in Wayne County’s small but growing live-entertainment scene because it marries cinematic storytelling with tight puzzle design. The shorter runtime makes it an excellent option for travelers who want a high-energy stop between a day of hiking or winery visits nearby, or for local groups seeking a team-building challenge without committing an entire afternoon. Its urban storefront location on Madison Avenue places it within walking distance of downtown Wooster restaurants and bars—ideal for turning a solved case into a celebratory meal. Safety and accessibility are built into the model: staff monitor rooms, and hints are available to avoid dead-ends. The room’s metal locks, physical props, and layered clue structure reward teams that split tasks, communicate clearly, and keep a calm head as the clock ticks. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend in Ohio or planning a local night out, Framed 2.0 delivers compact, pulse-quickening gameplay that proves some of the best mysteries come in small packages. Plan to combine your escape with nearby attractions: the College of Wooster campus offers scenic walking routes and occasional public events, and a cluster of craft breweries and cafes lies a drive away. Groups should book in advance during evenings and weekends; weekday matinees can be quieter. If you want a souvenir, ask the staff about puzzle hints you missed—many teams enjoy comparing strategies afterward.
