If you are arriving by car please leave plenty of time to park, especially during the middle of the day.
A circular classic walk of 4 miles, including two ferries and spectacular views of the Fowey estuary. A couple of climbs/descents but much of the walk is roughly level, contouring above the river and Pont Pill. Usually lots of wildlife to spot.
We leave as foot passengers on the Bodinnick vehicle ferry and return on the Polruan foot ferry. Plenty of opportunities for cream teas or other refreshments after our return to Fowey. (not included in ticket price)

Train Stations & Bus Stops Nearest train station is Par. Buses 24 and 25 call at Par Station and terminate at Safe Harbour Hotel or Hanson Drive, Fowey (10 min walk to start). On the Good Journey planner search ‘Station Road Fowey’ and select ‘Station Road (W bound) Fowey’
Since the walk involves open land and water crossings, dress in layers and bring waterproof gear if necessary.
