We have kayaks that are easy for the beginner and are perfect for moving around the sandstone islands at Gunlock State Park. Vests (PFDs) and paddles are always included.
Paddle faster with a friend! Great date night, great for racing your friends, team-building, and great for fishing - these 2-seat or "tandem" kayaks take you to distant shorelines and great photos.
Your board rental is inside Gunlock State Park - just inches from the water! Paddle solo, or, for a fun challenge, try tandem paddling with a friend!
Nobody needs to be told what to do with a Water Mat! Work on your tan, wrestle, or even yoga - we've seen you get creative! We anchor it in chest-deep water near our shop location. Not a "towable" for PWC nor powerboats, but you can load it into your boat or paddle it to another spot on the lake. *4 vests (PFDs) are included with each Water Mat rental.
With advanced reservations, your gear will be ready for you ahead of your arrival. Check in at our rental location. We'll hold onto a valid, current, government-issued ID while you are out. Passports or military ID are acceptable. Our team will fit you for vest and paddle, provide brief orientation and instruction, then direct you to your craft on the beach.
Wind and sudden storms can affect your paddling experience, so always review the forecast prior to your rental.
Safety first—life jackets are mandatory and provided with all rentals to ensure your security on the water.
Utah’s sun can be intense; bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself during your rental.
Carry plenty of water, especially during summer months, to avoid dehydration while paddling.
