Adventure Tips

Plan Your Route Around Weather Conditions

Check the local wind and tide forecast before launching to ensure calm waters and safe paddling within Eagle Harbor.

Wear a Personal Flotation Device at All Times

Though Eagle Harbor is relatively protected, wearing your PFD is mandatory and critical for safety on water.

Bring Waterproof Storage

Protect your phone, keys, and snacks with a waterproof bag since you’ll be on the water for four hours.

Arrive Early to Avoid Launch Crowds

Getting to City Dock before midday helps secure smooth launch and return times, especially on weekends.
