The bus eases off the highway and the world narrows to silver birch trunks and a low, clean sky—Lapland in winter announces itself with breath you can see. Over four days based from Rovaniemi, this group program stitches together fast, tactile encounters: a husky sled glide through forest clearings, a quiet reindeer ride past frozen ponds, and a guided snowmobile run that throws up powder like brief applause.

Rovaniemi grew into a modern Arctic tourist hub after WWII; the Santa Claus Village was developed in the late 20th century as a year-round attraction tied to the Arctic Circle marker.
Operators in the area follow seasonal route planning and carry out waste management to protect fragile tundra; visitors are asked to minimize off-trail travel and respect local reindeer herding areas.
LAPLAND CAMP operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
