The morning opens with salt on your lips and a rumble underfoot as a Toyota Tacoma climbs coastal roads toward an empty shore. You step out onto sand still warm from last night's sun; the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez both lay out promise — different faces of Baja's coastline. The instructor runs a short safety briefing, you wobble through pop-up drills on a soft board, and then the ocean calls, waves daring you to try.
