Manatee Kayaking Company is a Fort Myers, Florida outfitter focused on kayak rentals and guided paddling experiences in Manatee Park and along the Orange River.
The company offers 3 Hour Kayak Rentals and 2 Hour Kayak Rentals using single and double sit-on-top kayaks, available on a first-come, first-served basis for recreational paddlers. For visitors seeking guided interpretation, the Orange River Nature Tour leads paddlers through mangrove-lined corridors to observe birds, turtles, and the potential to spot manatees or alligators in their natural habitat.
Safety and responsible recreation are emphasized: staff provide basic safety orientation, life jackets, and route guidance before launch. Equipment choices—stable sit-on-top kayaks—are suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers, supporting close but respectful wildlife viewing. Rentals and tours are designed for daytime exploration of calmer river sections and sheltered mangrove areas.
Manatee Kayaking Company serves families, solo paddlers, photographers, and small groups interested in nature observation and relaxed paddling. Pricing and availability for rentals are determined onsite, and guided tour availability may vary; guests are encouraged to check availability or arrive early for walk-up rentals. With a clear focus on location knowledge, safety basics, and low-impact paddling, Manatee Kayaking Company provides a straightforward way to experience the natural attractions around Fort Myers.
