A private tour at Sawgrass Recreation Park is an adventure like no other and now you can book this experience for the early sunrise hours of the day when the Everglades is showcasing its raw beauty. Join one of our experienced airboat captains as they escort you and your group deep into the sawgrass in the early morning hours. Cut through the cattails aboard one of our custom airboats specially designed for small parties, and find out what the excitement is all about on our famous private Everglades tours.

As one of the rare subtropical ecosystems, the Everglades holds spectacular mysteries. Renew your spirit as you glide across miles of river at speeds up to 40 mph, and get up-close and personal with native wildlife species, many of which are endangered in this fragile environment. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure creates lasting memories as you discover the secrets of this untamed wilderness the Seminoles called home. On our tours, feel free to let your spirit soar as you view nature at its finest.

In our Reptile Exhibit, take a walk on the wild side back in time with an original dinosaur, the Florida Alligator. Our reptile exhibit features dozens of species both native and exotic to Florida. Along with our friendly turtles and iguanas, you can learn about Cannibal, our 1,000-pound alligator. Our handlers are happy to demonstrate how these animals live and survive in the wild. Be sure to bring your camera so you can capture the excitement of you meeting one of these majestic animals with our “Meet a Baby Alligator” experience. Admission to the Exhibit areas is included with your Sunrise Private Adventure and they are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tax and gratuity will be included and calculated at final checkout. • Children are allowed on board the airboats, children ages 3 and under are free. Children ages 6 and under are required to wear a lift jacket for safety. Tour is suitable for children of all ages.
