The water ahead is flat glass and the bay breeze tugs at the wetsuit; three bright boards bob at the edge of the wake, waiting. In Fort Lauderdale’s shallow Intracoastal channels the lesson begins on land—safety briefings, balance drills and controller demos—then moves steadily into green water where you and your group trade turns and the foil starts to lift.

Light to moderate fitness—comfortable standing and basic swimming ability recommended
No prior eFoil experience is needed; lessons start with on-land drills and progress with instructor support, though basic swimming and comfort in open water are required.
Three eFoils and batteries, remote controls, helmets with BB Talk radios, impact vests, and limited booties and wetsuits—bring your own if possible for best fit.
Up to three riders are on the water at a time; the full group (4–6 people) rotates through during the two-hour session.
Lessons can be canceled for bad weather; for a full refund you must cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled time—check the operator’s policy when booking.
