About

Join us at our Field Camp location inside Glacier National Park as we welcome esteemed Forest Bathing instructor, Ellen Horowitz. Ellen has over 40 years of experience as a naturalist, educator, award-winning author, and Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide.

Forest bathing is a different way of experiencing the natural world than most people are used to. Best known for its health benefits, including stress reduction, forest bathing is also a nature connection practice. During this workshop, expect to have fun, reawaken your sense of wonder and awe, experience the healing benefits of the forest and learn ways to incorporate forest bathing into your everyday life.

  • We will meet at the Glacier Institute Field Camp at 6:00PM. Most of our time will be spent forest bathing as Ellen guides us on a slow, gentle walk or provides opportunities to sit quietly while she offers simple, sensory invitations that strengthen our awareness of and relationship with nature. The workshop concludes at 9:00PM.
