Telluride Fly Fishers offers walk/wade trips on the San Miguel and Dolores Rivers and high country lakes of the San Juan Mountains near Telluride, Colorado. Our local rivers and streams excel in beauty and diversity with brook trout, rainbows, cutthroat, browns, and cutbow trout. Guides will fish where the fishing is most productive which is constantly fluctuating. We pride ourselves on being on the water constantly to know where the best locations to fish are. Whether you love hiking to mountain streams, fishing private waters, or local rivers and lakes our guides will customize a trip for you.
We recommend a half-day for folks who have never been fly fishing before. We also recommend a half-day for kids. A half day trip is a great opportunity to dip your toes in the art of fly fishing.
Your fly fishing guide will contact you the day before your trip, typically between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. At which time your guide will arrange your meeting location.
