SHAKA SUP YOGA is a 90-minute floating vinyasa flow practice that is easier than you think and appropriate for everyone, especially those new to yoga. This relaxing experience is offered on anchored yoga specific Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUP) in beautifully calm, clear Coe Lake in Berea at Sunset.
The purpose of the class is to challenge mindfulness, let go of expectation, connect with nature and awaken an adventurous spirit. You decide how far to push your edges and students rarely fall in.
New to paddle boarding or yoga? No worries! No experience is needed. The certified instructor will provide assistance for safe participation, including a paddleboard lesson, guided movement and water safety. Must be 18 years old and able to swim.

Wear comfortable, quick drying clothes that allow for freedom of movement. Yoga, athletic or swimwear apparel is fine. Do not wear fleece, jeans or heavy cotton. Shoes are not worn on the boards.
Give yourself at least 15 minutes before the session to get comfortable on your board and learn basic paddling techniques.
Dress in quick-dry, flexible attire that can handle splashes or light falls into the water.
Stay hydrated on the water—there are no refill stations near the launch area.
Leave loose items in a safe place; consider waterproof cases for phones and keys during the session.
