No special fitness required but be comfortable with heights and able to follow safety instructions.
On-site time is roughly 20 minutes per booking; the actual swing lasts only a few seconds, with safety checks and gearing taking the bulk of the time.
Operators ask for weight and height at booking and typically set upper and lower limits—confirm during reservation as limits vary by rigging and whether you swing solo or with others.
A GoPro option is commonly offered by the operator; check inclusions when booking—some packages include video, others provide it as an extra.
Sessions are canceled in high winds or unsafe conditions; the provider usually offers a full refund if canceled at least 24 hours before departure or if weather forces cancellation.
San Mauro Castelverde is a hilltop settlement with medieval origins; its position reflects centuries of inland defense and pastoral life shaped by Sicily’s complex feudal and Norman past.
The swing and visitors share landscape with the Madonie environment—stick to marked paths, avoid disturbing bird nesting sites, and follow operator guidance to minimize erosion and waste.
