Farmstead Outdoor Adventures is a small outdoor rental business that specializes in kayak rentals and self-guided paddle experiences. The company offers three distinct kayak options: Solo Sit-Inside Kayak, Tandem Sit-on-Top Kayak, and Solo Sit-on-Top Kayak. Trips run on scenic river routes in the Cannon Valley Wilderness and on Union Lake, giving paddlers options for river trips or calm lake paddling. Rentals include all necessary safety equipment and gear so renters can launch prepared.
Farmstead Outdoor Adventures designs flexible pick-up and go rental options that suit solo adventurers, families, and groups seeking a day on the water. The Tandem Sit-on-Top Kayak is promoted as beginner-friendly and well suited for family outings or friends sharing a boat. Solo Sit-in-side and Sit-on-Top models accommodate paddlers who prefer independent trips and different hull styles for varied conditions.
Safety and clarity are priorities: rental packages provide required gear and straightforward instructions for each trip type. Booking information and trip summaries clearly list the three available experiences and the typical launch locations of Cannon Valley Wilderness and Union Lake. Because the company focuses on rentals and self-guided adventures rather than guided tours, guests retain control of pace and route within permitted areas.
Farmstead Outdoor Adventures attracts paddlers looking for flexible, all-inclusive kayak rental options in scenic river and lake settings. Third-party listings and local directories feature the business’s trip names and summaries, helping prospective paddlers compare options and plan a safe, enjoyable day on the water. Advance reservations are recommended during busy summer weekends and holidays.
