Hitting a sweet spot between performance and comfort, the Specialized Roubaix SL8 Sport 105 was designed to thrive on long rides through rough country.
It is smooth, fast and light. The frame and fork are carbon. Shimano 105 12-speed components with mechanical shifting and hydraulic disc brakes. Ours are shod with 32mm tires for maximum comfort. And the gearing is ideal for our terrain: 50/34 up front and 11/36 in back.
We have a few pairs of Shimano SPD-SL (Road) pedals, SPD (Mountain) pedals that we can mount. Or feel free to bring your own.
