Captain Bates operates out of 108 Atlantic Beach Causeway, offering tailored fishing and duck hunting trips that capture the raw spirit of these waters. Known locally for its strong tidal currents and diverse marine life, the area supports an abundant fishery where drum, redfish, and bluefish thrive. Beyond fishing, winter sees duck hunting that taps into the region’s rich waterfowl populations, including sea ducks and a variety of teal species.

His boat comes fully rigged and well-maintained, allowing clients to maximize time on the water rather than waiting to gear up. Whether it’s a half-day fishing excursion targeting 40+ inch fish or a full day that pushes the limits into the less trafficked flats, Captain Andy’s local knowledge ensures clients are positioned where fish congregate, even if it means a bold move across the river to quieter water.

Andy’s patience and ease with newcomers make him a standout guide for families and first-timers, ensuring an accessible yet thrilling experience.
