5 hours Dock to dock ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE DEPARTURE TIME i.e. if you arrive at 6:50am for the 7am-12pm trip, you are 20 minutes late! If you arrive at 7am for the 7am-12pm trip, you will be right on time to watch the boat leave without you…even if you are in the parking lot or walking down the dock! You will not receive a refund or credit if you miss the boat (NO EXCEPTIONS).

*Gratuity (Tip) for the mate is NOT optional and is NOT included in the ticket price. Tips should be given directly to the mate either before or after your trip. 20% of the total cost is the standard (20% of $69 = $14 per person). Tipping has ZERO to do with how the fishing goes so even if fishing isn’t good, it is still expected that you will tip. Our mates work very hard before, during, and after your trip and they rely on your generosity to make their living. No one works for free so if you do not tip, you will not be welcomed back on the boat in the future. *There's plenty of space to fish on this trip since we limit the boat to 16 anglers! *The best things to bring on your trip are a positive attitude, patience, and a determination to have fun! Grouchy people don’t catch fish and we’d prefer to not fish with whiners and/or complainers! If the only way you can be happy on a fishing trip is if you “fill your cooler” with fish, kindly go book on a different boat so you don’t ruin everyone else’s good time 👍🏻🎣 *Headboat Trips are Bottom Fishing ONLY!!! We target fish like Spot and Croakers. We also occasionally catch White Perch, Trout, Whiting, Black Sea Bass, Puppy Drum, & King Williams Perch. DO NOT buy a ticket for the Headboat expecting to catch Rockfish, Bluefish, Mackerel, Cobia or anything else of that nature. *Bait, rods, tackle, and fish filleting are NOT included in the price. *Rods and bait are purchased on the boat NOT online. *You DO NOT need a fishing license on a charter boat. ***BRING BLOODWORMS OR LUG WORMS FOR BAIT! The local bait shops do not open early in the morning so plan accordingly. Looking for bait shops? Try google to find something in your area or on your way to the boat. NIGHTCRAWLERS, RED WORMS, GREEN WORMS, SHRIMP, SQUID, CRAB, AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL NOT WORK FOR BAIT If you bring the wrong bait, DO NOT blame the captain for a poor catch of fish!!!! *HOOKS: size #4 long shank snelled flicker hooks work best. DO NOT USE HOOKS WITH STEEL LEADERS. *WEIGHTS: bring 3oz and 4oz bank sinkers. 4oz may be required if the current is running hard during your trip. *RODS: medium/light or medium fast action spinning rods work best (4-6 foot rod length is recommended). *REELS: 2000-4500 size spinning reels are best *Don’t let pride and ego cost you fish…listen to the advice of the captain and mate about how to catch them. We do this everyday and we know how to catch the fish here! We are more than willing to help you out, give advice, and show you the best way to be successful 👍🏻🎣

Fish filleting services are NOT available for "bottom fish" (i.e. Spot, Perch, Croaker, Whiting). Catches for these are often vast in numbers and simply take too long to clean everything, especially since we have back to back trips booked most of the time. IF you require fish cleaning for bottom fishing, be sure to mention it before booking and we MAY be able to accommodate your request for an additional fee.
