Fish Rock is world-renowned as one of the top dive sites within Australia and indeed the world.
Meet at the dock at the allotted time to prep and setup for the day. This is an open ocean dive, so if you have ever been seasick or are in doubt please think about the appropriate medication.
Fish Rock is a world class dive site that truly lives up to its name. Not only does it look a little like a fish on the surface it is also engulfed with fish beneath. A usual day out is 2 dives. The first is usually at one of the open water sites around the island (the aquarium 15m, the shark gutters 26m, fish bommies 30m, Bia's wall 27m, Colorado Pass 27m, Submerged Pinacle 10-27m, Eagle Ray Point 30m, Deep wall 30m and Land of the Giants 30m.
The second Dive is usually through the cave from deep entrance 26m to shallow entrance 10m. We usually like to introduce new divers to Fish Rock to one or both of the entrances during the course of the first dive.
We can tailor the dives to suit most skill levels and experience. It is not mandatory four all divers to do the cave.

Bring Your Own Mask and Snorkel
Fish Rock Dive Centre provides tanks and weights, but you must bring or rent essential gear like masks and snorkels to ensure a perfect fit underwater.
Take Seasickness Precautions
This is an open ocean dive, so consider seasickness medication if you’re prone to motion sickness before heading out on the boat.
Certification Required
Divers need Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification with at least 15 dives completed to participate safely.

The cave dive is optional and can be substituted with open water sites to accommodate different skill levels.
