First Indoor Clay Pigeon Range: 30-Min Group Experience in Murray, Utah

At TNT in Murray, Utah, the 30 Min Clay Pigeon Group Experience throws you into a concentrated burst of shotgun sport designed for groups. Located in Murray, just south of Salt Lake City, this session takes place in the nation's first indoor clay pigeon range, an urban venue that delivers weatherproof shooting and consistent target presentation. Six shotgun bays with rotation capability set the course: up to five people per bay, adjacent lanes available for larger groups. The thirty-minute format is efficient and social—coaches emphasize safety, proper mount, lead, and follow-through so novices build confidence and experienced shooters refine timing. Booking is straightforward; organizers can reserve single bays for private parties or multiple adjacent bays for corporate outings and celebrations — Includes Event Coordinator. Safety rules are explicit: shooters must be eight or older to fire, children six and up may enter with a parent or guardian, and all minors need a signed waiver. Complete the safety waiver online via your confirmation email or arrive fifteen minutes early to fill it out in person. The facility prohibits muzzle loaders, steel-core ammo, and incendiary rounds; pregnant guests are restricted from the range but may use the lobby seating. Add-ons include firearm rentals, ear and eye protection, extra targets, and the option to bring additional shooters, which makes the experience accessible for first-time participants. What sets this range apart for the Salt Lake metro is the controlled indoor clay format; it reproduces the snap of outdoor skeet and sporting clays without the time and travel demands of rural ranges. For event planners and groups the rotation design creates a built-in rhythm—teams swap lanes, tally scores, and compare lines in comfortable viewing areas. Practical advice: bring a government ID if you are not a U.S. resident, wear closed-toe shoes, and follow range officer directions at all times. The 30 Min Clay Pigeon Group Experience suits travelers who want a compact, high-impact slice of shotgun sport while visiting Murray or passing through the Salt Lake corridor. It’s a practical, memorable way to introduce friends or colleagues to clay shooting without committing to a full-day trip, and it anchors well with nearby dining and event venues in Murray. Groups looking for competition can ask staff to track hits and misses for scoring, or request focused coaching time on breaking targets consistently. Reservations through the experience's booking link are recommended on weekends when lanes fill for corporate outings. Note that the operator requires compliance with local laws and ID verification; if you travel with children, factor in waiver time. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned shooter seeking a focused practice session, this half-hour blast delivers measurable skill gains and camaraderie in an urban package today.
