Dawn light slips across ancient stone as the city wakes: narrow alleys exhale steam from cafés while the Colosseum’s arches take on a pale gold. On a First Entry private tour, visitors step through the gates ahead of the crowds and stand on the Arena floor where sand once soaked up the echoes of combat. A private guide leads the conversation—construction techniques, crowd control, and the theater of power—while the amphitheater’s stones seem to keep their own counsel.
