You stand on warm pavement while the Atlantic glints like a sheet of glass and the small dive centre hums with quiet efficiency. Instructors check tanks, straps whisper, and a van shuffles guests down to Playa Chica — a protected cove where black volcanic rock frames calm blue water. Once you slip beneath the surface, bubbles chart your path and colorful fish investigate, the seabed rising and falling like a slow, breathing landscape.

No certification is required; this is an introductory SSI try-dive supervised by an instructor with a 2:1 student ratio.
The program keeps dives shallow for safety and comfort, reaching a maximum depth of 6 metres.
Guests must meet health requirements: not recommended for pregnant people or those with serious heart or spinal conditions; disclose medical history when booking.
Bring swimwear, towel, identification/ticket and any necessary medical info; all scuba equipment is supplied by the operator.
