Join our hands-on firearm maintenance workshop to learn essential skills for keeping your handgun or rifle in top condition. With expert guidance, you'll master cleaning techniques and enjoy a live fire function check. This unique experience ensures your firearm operates safely and effectively, all while working in a small, personalized class setting.

Maintenance Matters

Learn firearm maintenance with expert guidance and receive valuable tips and techniques to ensure your firearm remains in a safe and optimal working condition! Our workshop covers proper breakdown, cleaning, and maintenance for handguns or rifles. Explore various platforms—semi-automatics, revolvers, AR-style, bolt actions, pump actions, and lever actions. Complimentary cleaning products and basic tools are provided for use if you don't have your own, and they are available for purchase as well. After cleaning there is time for a quick function check during a live fire portion of this workshop.

Duration:

3.5 hours incorporating Instruction and short Range Time for function check.

Price:

$49.00 per student and classes are kept small in number. Private personalized classes are offered.

Age and Requirements:

Minor participants aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent. Age 18 and older can participate independently. You must Not have a mental or physical impairment that would prevent safe firearm handling.

What to bring:

Bring a valid driver's license or valid Gov. Identification (ID). Bring your own firearm. Ensure you're ready with a few rounds of correct ammunition for your firearm. Bring your own eye and ear protection. No open toe shoes, low cut shirts or blouses for safety reasons on the range. Water bottles are allowed with screw on type lids.

*Should you forget, Outpost Range provides in-store sales of a range of ammunition, eye and ear protection.

Expectations:

Arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop for check-in.

If you anticipate any issues or delays with arrival, notify the Pro Shop in advance. Only course participants are allowed on the range, sorry no spectators are permitted.

Participants should bring their own handgun or rifle along with compatible ammunition for the live fire portion.

Dress for Safety

Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid low-cut shirts or blouses while on the range to meet safety requirements.

Arrive Early for Check-In
